Jason Sample


Wassup everbody?  I guess this is where I tell you all a little about myself.  I'm a native of the area graduating from Falconer High in 1994.  I also attended JCC for two years before heading south to West Virginia University, where I spent the next three years studying journalism while also working for the first time on the radio at WWVU-FM. After graduating I spent another year in Morgantown celebrating before leaving town and heading back north to Jamestown, where I started working at WJTN as a news reporter.  After spending four and a half years covering the very exciting world of local news and politics, I was asked to help out with sports and also DJ on the Fox.   

Interests
My favorite bands include The Pixies, Radiohead, The Clash, The Kinks, the Rolling Stones, and most any other band to come out of England, except for Wham.

My favorite movie is The Dirty Dozen.  Bridge on the River Kwai is also a good one, and the first two Star Wars also rank high on the list... the real ones, not the new crap Lucas pushed on us to line his own pockets. 

My favorite TV Show is the History Channel's Engineering an Empire with Peter Weller (Robocop).   It's educational.  I also like watching the NFL and college ball.  Old sitcoms like "Three's Company" and "Night Court" are also a delight.

My favorite food is still my mom's chocolate chip cookies and my favorite drink is Coffee.
